AAC Clyde Space Year-End Report 2025
AAC Clyde Space ($AAC) has reported net sales of SEK 71.3 million, a significant decrease of 50.1% compared to the previous year's SEK 143.0 million.
The company recorded an EBITDA of SEK 2.0 million, down from SEK 33.0 million, while the EBIT stood at SEK -13.1 million compared to SEK 20.4 million last year. After tax, the total result was SEK -6.2 million versus SEK 17.3 million in 2024. Basic and diluted earnings per share were noted at SEK -0.93, down from SEK 2.97.
Cash flow from operating activities showed a notable decline, totaling SEK -24.0 million compared to SEK 53.7 million last year. Additionally, the order backlog was reported at SEK 351.8 million, a decrease from SEK 641.2 million.
Despite these challenges, AAC Clyde Space has welcomed Bonnier Capital as a new shareholder through a directed investment of up to SEK 140 million. The Board has resolved to issue shares worth approximately SEK 100 million at market price, with warrants that may provide an additional SEK 40 million, securing full funding for the INFLECION programme.
The company also received SEK 4.7 million from the ESA Phi-Lab Sweden programme for the development of its next-generation on-board computer, while its subsidiary Spacemetric secured a SEK 3.3 million project from the Swedish National Space Agency.
Moreover, AAC Clyde Space has received a USD 0.5 million order from a U.S. satellite manufacturer for Starbuck Mini power systems, with the first delivery planned before the year-end. The operational capabilities of the Sedna-1 and Sedna-2 satellites have been enhanced, reinforcing the company’s position in space-based maritime intelligence.
In terms of future projects, AAC Clyde Space has begun assembly of its first two satellites in the VIREON™ Earth Observation constellation, with a launch anticipated in Q1. The company has also updated its 2025 guidance, mainly due to delays in the EPS Sterna programme.
In a strategic move, AAC Clyde Space’s extraordinary general meeting on January 2, 2026, approved a directed share issue to Bonnier Capital at a subscription price of SEK 84.13 per share, alongside the issue of warrants and an authorization for a 20% share capital increase.
Additionally, the company has initiated the build of two more maritime data satellites, Sedna-3 and Sedna-4. The integration of the first two satellites in the VIREON™ constellation has been completed, and they are on their way to the launch site.
