Domino’s Pizza, Inc. (NASDAQ: DPZ) is featured among the 14 Best Warren Buffett Dividend Stocks to Buy.
BTIG Adjusts Price Target
On February 19, BTIG revised its price target for Domino’s Pizza, lowering it from $530 to $500. Despite this adjustment, the firm maintained a Buy rating on the stock, citing concerns over the company's ability to consistently meet its goal of 3% annual same-store sales growth.
Expansion Efforts
Despite these concerns, Domino’s management continues to prioritize expansion. The company ended its third quarter with 21,750 locations globally, which includes 214 new restaurant openings in the last quarter and 748 over the past year. Notably, most of this growth has come from international markets, with 588 new locations added outside the U.S. in the last twelve months. This franchise-heavy model, where approximately 99% of Domino’s locations are franchised, allows the company to grow with minimal capital expenditure. Instead, Domino’s benefits from upfront franchise fees and ongoing royalty payments linked to store sales, in addition to revenue from supplying franchisees with necessary products.
Financial Performance
Domino’s asset-light business model supports robust free cash flow generation. In the first three quarters of 2025, the company generated $495.6 million in free cash flow, returning $397.2 million to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases.
Dividend Track Record
With a consistent history of increasing its dividend annually, Domino’s reflects a strong commitment to shareholder returns, which is often interpreted as a sign of management’s confidence in the company's financial health and long-term prospects.
Business Segments
