Goldsky Resources Corp. (TSXV: GSKR) today announced the appointment of Brent Doster as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 1, 2026. Karilyn Farmer has also been appointed as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Exploration and Resource Development, effective April 21, 2026.
Mr. Doster will take over from Rakesh Malhotra, the outgoing CFO, who will maintain a senior finance role within the company, actively overseeing Canadian operations and contributing to strategic financial matters as Goldsky continues to execute its growth initiatives. Ms. Farmer, who recently joined the board of directors following the acquisition of Mawson Finland Limited, will resign from the board as she transitions into her new full-time management role.

Brent Doster brings over 20 years of financial management experience in the coal and gold mining sectors, having held senior finance positions with publicly listed companies in Africa and beyond. His most recent role was Group CFO of Goldplat plc, an AIM-listed mining services group with operations in South Africa and Ghana. Doster holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree and is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
Karilyn Farmer, a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) and a JORC Competent Person, has 30 years of global mining experience. She has successfully led projects from early exploration stages to operational mines and brings strategic insights from her nine years at McKinsey & Company. Farmer's expertise spans strategy development, mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, exploration, and operational delivery across various metals in over 25 countries.
As part of his appointment, the company will issue Mr. Doster 500,000 options to purchase common shares, exercisable for five years at a price equivalent to the last closing price prior to issuance.
Goldsky Resources is a publicly listed gold exploration company consolidating assets in Sweden and Finland. Its flagship asset, the Barsele gold project in central Sweden, is set to transition to 100% ownership from Agnico Eagle. Barsele hosts an Indicated Mineral Resource of 7.88 Mt at a grade of 1.27 g/t Au containing 320,781 oz Au, and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 28.75 Mt at 1.98 g/t Au containing 1.83 Moz Au.
In addition to Barsele, Goldsky Resources holds a substantial license position surrounding the project, covering approximately 80,000 hectares in Sweden's Gold Line greenstone belt, which includes the Paubäcken and Storjuktan projects. Furthermore, in Finland, the company is the 100% owner of the underexplored Oijärvi greenstone belt, featuring the Kylmäkangas deposit, the largest known gold occurrence in the area. Goldsky is also fully invested in the Rajapalot gold-cobalt project in northern Finland, which has an Inferred Resource of 9,780 kt containing 867 koz Au at 2.8 g/t Au and 4.3 kt Co at 441 ppm Co.
