Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. (TSXV: KLDC) is excited to share a detailed geological and visual update on its fully funded 25,000-m diamond drilling program at the KL West Property in Ontario's Kirkland Lake region.
Having completed over 10,000 m of drilling, the Company is observing highly promising visual results from its core logging facility. Recent drilling has consistently intersected key geological indicators of a large-scale, intrusion-related gold and polymetallic system.
While analytical assays for all holes drilled since late January are pending, core logging has confirmed that the mineralizing systems along the 17-km Winnie Lake Stock (WLS) corridor are structurally robust, fluid-rich, and rapidly expanding in scale.
Stefan Sklepowicz, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "The visual observations from the KL West program represent a significant milestone for us. The intense 'brick-red' hematite alteration at Wolverine Bend, along with coarse copper and molybdenite at Winnie Lake, indicates the presence of a massive hydrothermal system. These geological markers historically guided explorers to legendary deposits in the Abitibi region. We are awaiting laboratory assays to confirm grades, but the extensive alteration we are logging gives us tremendous confidence in a district-scale opportunity. Multiple overlapping mineralizing events are evident, and the system seems to strengthen as we drill deeper."
Visual logging from new drill holes at Wolverine Bend confirms that the hydrothermal alteration footprint is extensive both laterally and vertically. The system exhibits intense potassic alteration accompanied by pervasive hematite, resulting in the characteristic 'brick-red' altered syenite, which has become diagnostic of the Wolverine Bend target. Alteration intensity appears to increase with depth and along projected structural corridors.
At Winnie Lake, drilling continues to uncover both VMS-style volcanic-hosted mineralization and structurally controlled intrusive-related sulphide systems to the east and north of the historical Winnie Main Deposit. Recent step-out drilling along the East Trend has confirmed the continuity of sulphide mineralization beyond historical workings.
The Company has also begun exploring regional grassroots targets identified through coincident soil and geophysical anomalies, revealing new geological environments.
Drilling metrics so far have been promising, with core logging, geological interpretation, and sampling ongoing. Hundreds of samples are currently queued at ALS Laboratories, with analytical assay results to be reported as they are validated and interpreted in the upcoming weeks.
The Company plans to continue expanding the alteration footprint at Wolverine Bend, targeting strike and depth extensions to further define the scale and continuity of the corridor. Recent drilling at Winnie Lake is advancing both the extension of the Winnie Main VMS polymetallic horizon and an emerging intrusive-hosted structural corridor. Assay results remain pending for several intercepts, and follow-up holes are planned to delineate these zones further.
Regionally, KLDC is progressing a pipeline of high-priority targets generated by integrated geochemistry and structural modeling. The drill program is expected to significantly enhance understanding of mineralization scale and continuity across the district.

Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. (TSXV: KLDC) has established a 400-km² exploration portfolio in the prolific Kirkland Lake region of Ontario’s Abitibi Greenstone Belt, known for hosting gold and polymetallic massive-sulphide deposits. With exploration permits in place, KLDC is poised to advance a strong pipeline of drill-ready targets at KL East and KL West.
