Manganese X Energy Corp. (TSXV: MN) is excited to share an important update regarding the progress of its ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) at its flagship Battery Hill Project in New Brunswick, Canada. This includes the commencement of additional geotechnical drilling and ongoing metallurgical process optimization initiatives.
ABH Engineering Inc., the primary consulting firm for the PFS, has kicked off preliminary engineering activities. These activities encompass the establishment of critical paths, execution schedules, and organizational frameworks for the project.
Martin Kepman, CEO of Manganese X, emphasized, "Advancing geotechnical precision and continuing metallurgical optimization are crucial steps in fortifying our Pre-Feasibility Study. These efforts reflect our dedication to enhancing project efficiency and reducing operating costs, positioning Battery Hill as a pivotal domestic supplier of battery-grade manganese."
In collaboration with GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited, Manganese X has initiated a targeted geotechnical drilling and testing program. This program consists of three drill holes totaling approximately 550 meters, aimed at gathering site-specific geotechnical data to support infrastructure planning as part of the PFS.
The outcomes from this initiative are anticipated to enhance mine design confidence, optimize assumptions regarding material movement, and contribute to the economic evaluation of the Battery Hill Project within the updated PFS framework.
In conjunction with mine optimization efforts, the company is continuing its work with Kemetco Research Inc. Current metallurgical activities focus on providing technical support to the engineering team and preparing representative product samples to bolster ongoing evaluation and development of the Battery Hill Project.
Further updates will be provided as results are available and integrated into the Pre-Feasibility Study. The PFS will also include investigations into environmental and social impacts, such as baseline environmental conditions, permitting requirements, and community engagement, alongside the ongoing development of relationships with First Nations.
Manganese X Energy Corp. will be showcasing its developments at the 2026 convention of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), scheduled from March 1-4, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Ontario. The Company invites investors and industry participants to visit Booth #2842 in the Investors Exchange, open from Sunday, March 1 through Tuesday, March 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Wednesday, March 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We look forward to engaging with attendees!
