Abcourt Mines Inc. (ABI) is excited to announce the completion of a high-resolution drone magnetic survey conducted in early January on its Flordin property. The results are now available, showcasing significant geological insights.
In December 2025, the Company commissioned Terrascope Inc. to perform the magnetic drone survey, which covered 463 kilometers of flight lines across the Flordin property. The lines were spaced 35 meters apart, and the survey was conducted at an altitude of approximately 32 meters above ground. The findings clearly illustrate the continuity of the main magnetic anomaly throughout the property, which aligns with the mafic lava sequence (basalt-andesite) of the Vanier-Dalet-Poirier Group (VDP). This sequence hosts the Cameron Shear Corridor, a critical channel for gold mineralization. The recent survey confirms the persistence of this major geological structure across our property.
The processed magnetic data produced images of the first and second vertical derivatives, which effectively visualize late NE-SW oriented structures that displace geological units. Notable displacements were identified at the Cartwright stripping and the 25-02 area. Structural analysis by Lucie Mathieu from GEOX Consultations Inc. further corroborates these late structural movements in a N-NE direction. Understanding these shifts will enhance the Company's future exploration strategies, especially as drilling is currently underway, targeting a total of 20,000 meters in 2026 within the main magnetic anomaly.
Pascal Hamelin, President and CEO, remarked, "The results of this high-resolution magnetic survey are compelling. Conducting this project was essential, particularly given the technological advancements in geophysics. The survey illustrates the continuity of the magnetic anomaly across our property, aiding in the planning and efficiency of our current drill campaign. We are eager to receive the initial assay results from this drilling effort."
Robert Gagnon, P.Geo., Vice-President of Exploration, and Marc Boivin, P.Geo., Consulting Geophysicist, have verified and approved the technical details included in this release.
