Trifecta Gold Ltd. (TG) is excited to announce that it has granted Nortec Minerals Corp. the option to acquire a 100% interest in its Yuge gold project located in northern Nevada.
Following an initial payment of $25,000 to secure this option, Nortec can earn full interest in the Yuge project by making escalating annual payments totaling $2,000,000 over a period of five years. The project will remain subject to an existing underlying royalty and defined resource payments owed to Silver Range Resources Ltd., the previous owner of the property.
The initial payment to Trifecta and up to 50% of the annual payments can be satisfied by issuing shares of Nortec to Trifecta, valued at the 10-day volume weighted average price. This transaction is pending approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
Trifecta is pleased to monetize a non-core property holding while focusing on the discovery of new gold deposits within the Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt. In 2025, Trifecta drilled 1.02 g/t gold over 37 metres during its first-ever drill hole at the Rye Project, with plans for a follow-up program in summer 2026. The promising gold results at the Rye Project show strong correlation with bismuth, tellurium, and tungsten, indicating that Rye may host a Reduced Intrusion Related Gold System.

As a Canadian-based precious metals exploration company, Trifecta is dedicated to enhancing shareholder value through the discovery and development of 100% held gold projects in Yukon. The company has secured an option to acquire a 100% interest in Mt. Hinton, Rye, and nine other highly prospective intrusion-related gold projects in the Tombstone Gold Belt, where over 20 million ounces of gold have been discovered since May 2020.
The Eureka Project features an 8 x 2.5 kilometre belt of surface showings and anomalous gold-in-soil that spans the headwaters of two of the most productive placer creeks in Yukon's southern Klondike Goldfields. Additionally, Trifecta's Treble Project encompasses a substantial hydrothermal system, strategically located between Western Copper and Gold Corporation's Casino Deposit and Rockhaven Resources Ltd.'s Klaza Deposit.
