Excuse Wine & Spirits, Inc. Achieves CRT Compliance
Chilco River Holdings, Inc. (OTCID: CRVH), a company dedicated to premium Bourbon, Tequila, and Ready-to-Drink spirits, proudly announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Excuse Wine & Spirits, Inc., has successfully obtained formal label compliance from Mexico's Tequila Regulatory Council (Consejo Regulador del Tequila, A.C. - CRT).
This compliance, recognized under Official Mexican Standard NOM-006-SCFI-2012 (Dictamen No. 0389/2026), certifies that the Excuse Tequila Diamond Edition - 100% Agave Reposado Cristalino, bottled at 40% Alc. Vol. in 750ml format for export, meets the necessary regulatory and commercial information standards for tequila products in Mexico.
The CRT approval is a crucial regulatory milestone for the Company as it prepares to enter the tequila market. Over the past two years, the brand has been developed, production relationships have been coordinated, packaging design has been refined, and a distribution strategy has been structured to focus on the U.S. market.
Will Lovett, the Chief Executive Officer, emphasized, "This regulatory approval reflects the compliance and preparation efforts behind Excuse Tequila. With CRT approval secured, we will continue progressing through final certification procedures and commercial rollout planning."
Furthermore, the Company has signed a five-year production agreement with its distilling partner, ensuring ongoing production capacity for the Excuse Tequila Diamond Edition and future runs. This strategic partnership supports supply chain continuity as distribution efforts ramp up.
Consumer demand for premium tequila has been on the rise, and the Company remains focused on regulatory compliance, operational coordination, and a measured approach to market entry. Following this significant milestone, Chilco River Holdings will work on certification procedures and U.S. distribution coordination ahead of the product launch.
