Giant Mining Corp. (CSE: BFG | OTC: BFGFF | FWB: YW5) has announced the completion of an independent recommendations report prepared by RESPEC Company, LLC for the Company’s flagship Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Pershing County, Nevada.
The report reviews the updated geological framework and provides a disciplined exploration roadmap that the Company believes represents an important step in evaluating Majuba Hill’s longer-term potential as a domestic U.S. copper and silver asset.
This report, in combination with the Company’s technical team, will guide the upcoming drill program of up to 10,000 feet, as announced in the Company’s news release on January 30th, 2026.
David Greenway, President & CEO of Giant Mining Corp., stated, “The independent RESPEC report represents a transformational technical milestone for Giant Mining and significantly advances our understanding of the opportunity at Majuba Hill. With a refined geological model, secured funding, and a clearly defined drill strategy, we are now positioned to aggressively pursue discovery-driven exploration across this highly prospective system.”
The report emphasizes the identification of tourmaline breccia pipe-hosted copper systems as a significant technical advancement, allowing the Company to target higher-grade mineralization. As a critical mineral, copper is essential for electrification, infrastructure, and defense applications within the United States. With long-term demand projected to outpace supply, Majuba Hill's location in a top-ranked mining jurisdiction makes it strategically relevant.
Key findings from the RESPEC report include:
- Identification of tourmaline breccia pipes as a key control of copper mineralization.
- High-grade copper and silver mineralization may occur in discrete breccia zones requiring careful geological targeting.
- Recommendation to re-evaluate historical data within the context of the new deposit model.
- Future development scenarios depend on discovering additional high-grade breccia bodies.
- Nevada’s mining jurisdiction supports potential future development if exploration is successful.
RESPEC outlines scenarios under which continued exploration success could support various mining approaches. While Majuba Hill remains in the exploration stage, the Company believes that a disciplined, science-driven exploration program is essential to determine the project's capacity to contribute to U.S. copper and silver supply.
Located 113 road kilometers southwest of Winnemucca, Nevada, Majuba Hill benefits from strong local infrastructure, which offers substantial cost savings compared to more remote projects. The project has seen approximately 89,395 feet of drilling to date, with indications of a potentially large mineralized body. The Company has secured funding for its next phase of drilling.
Giant Mining is committed to responsible exploration and technical transparency, focusing on advancing Majuba Hill through systematic drilling and evaluation. For more information about Giant Mining, visit Inside Ticker.
