PharmAla Biotech Holdings Inc. (CSE: MDMA)(OTCQB: MDXXF), a biotechnology firm dedicated to the research and development of LaNeo™ MDMA and its derivatives, has announced a significant binding supply agreement with Amsterdam University Medical Center (Amsterdam UMC) in the Netherlands. This partnership aims to provide LaNeo™ 40mg MDMA capsules for an upcoming clinical trial.
As part of the agreement, PharmAla will deliver its LaNeo™ 40mg capsules, which will be repackaged into a new single-capsule format. Importantly, this agreement includes a three-year stability testing program for this new dosage form, expected to yield vital stability data that PharmAla plans to leverage for developing commercial-grade blister packaging for its LaNeo™ MDMA product line.
The stability data generated from this program is anticipated to bolster PharmAla's broader commercial strategy. The single-capsule stability data is essential for the eventual creation of blister packaging, which is the industry norm for pharmaceutical distribution. PharmAla anticipates that the insights gained from this initiative may facilitate the development of new commercial-grade blister packaging for LaNeo™ MDMA, enhancing distribution efficiency to clinical trial locations and commercial partners worldwide.

The execution of this agreement with Amsterdam UMC is contingent upon finalizing a Quality Agreement with the Clinical Pharmacy of Amsterdam UMC. Additionally, delivery will be subject to standard regulatory approvals and the direction of the Amsterdam UMC team.
